After extensive investigation, we discovered that those Neoprene foam pads which are included with most watercooling pumps really don't do a very good job of eliminating the transference of pump vibration. So, during our epic quest for silence, we happened upon this stuff. Unsure of what to call it at first, we settled on "Gel-Stuff"--after all, that's pretty much what it is. Super soft, crush-resistant, amazingly stretchy, and, well, quite gel-like, we have yet to find anything that nullifies pump vibration better than Petra'sTech Gel-Stuff. The clear plexiglass replacement top for the Laing DDC pump has pre drilled LED mounting holes to accept 5mm LED should you wish to eluminate the unit.This attachment is thus conceived, so that you may exchange the conventional top cover of the Laing DDC pump with a new one, and thus G1/4” connections are available. By means of the uncoupling sets (category: pump decouplings), the Laing can be mounted completely decoupled in any 3,5”-shaft, for example at the bottom side, by means of the standard uncouplings or even better, it can be installed in place of 80mm fans. Also for the attachment any position is possible, you may complete your projects using your fantasy. The attachment has also 5mm LED drillings for Case Modders. A further opening is provided for the optionally available water tank.
